The Odie dance

Lately your movie of choice has been Garfield. I'm not sure how that started or why, but you love it. You especially love to dance like the dog, Odie. Here's a little video of you doing just that.
You're so cute. Love you.

Visiting GG

Today we picked up grandma and Cici and went to visit GG at the cemetary. Today is the 5 year anniversary of her passing. You never knew GG, but if you did I bet it would explain a lot about why we are all so coo-koo :) haha just kidding. When we got there you helped us clean off her gravestone. You still don't quite understand the subject because you kept looking around for GG. It was really cute.

Here you are using Cici's phone to call GG. You put it up to your ear and said, "Hi, GG" Then put the phone down to tell us, "She's not there?" It was sooooo cute (and sad) :)
Before we knew it you were cracking us up, like usual. The gravestones were hot and you kept walking on them over and over again. Cici called you a firewalker and from that point on every time you walked on them you said, "Firewalker." You actually had a little path going while you were saying it. It was very funny.
Here's a short video of your firewalking skills... :)

After the cemetary we went to lunch where you had a mini meltdown. Fun!! Then we went to Cici's to swim. You are getting really good with your arm floaties. In fact, you even jumped into the pool from Cici's jacuzzi. I don't have the pictures/video yet because my batteries died, but Cici got some good footage that we'll post later because it was quite funny. After about an hour in the pool, we decided to get in the car and head home. This was you about 5 minutes into the drive home :) I just love you sooo much. You bring such joy to my life. Thanks french fry.

More Beach Fun

Today we went back to Seal Beach for some more summer fun. We met the Ashton girls again along with some of their friends. You had a great time. Kayla and Kelsey's grandpa dug a huge hole for you to climb in. You had fun getting in, but not so much getting out. Once you got the hang of it, you kept going in and out. It was really fun. Overall, it was a really fun time. Thanks for being such a great hang out buddy. I am having a wonderful summer. Love u

Weekend Fun

This weekend was filled with loads of fun. Friday we hung out with Brandon, Aunt Cyndi, Auntie Evonne, and Abbey. We went to lunch and then shopped a little. We all had such a good time.

When we got home we had a little picnic out on the grass as we waited for Daddy to get home. We had some good news for him!! Mallorey and Logan were coming to spend the night!!!! He was thrilled, I'm sure. :) So you, Mallorey, Logan, Hunter, and Chelsea all hung out and played out front for a few hours.
Once we finally convinced you all to come in, you really started having fun. The three of you had a blast together, playing, watching movies, eating ice cream and then froot loops. No wonder I couldn't get you to crash until midnight. When you woke up and they were still there, you were sooo excited. You hung out with them for a few hours and then you had a well needed nap. Then it was off to grandma and grandpa's for our weekly get together. We all swam and hung out all evening and night and then finally came home to go to bed. Today we stayed home and chilled all day. Aunt Netty invited us over for dinner so we went over there and had some yummy dinner and dessert. We stayed for a little while to play too. Then it was time to come home and take a bath. Before getting in the tub you tried and succeeded to go pee pee again in the potty :) YAHHHHHH! So off to the tub you went. You were playing so well in there and then your face turned purple. I asked you what was wrong and you said, "Uh oh... poop poo" Yep you let a nice Baby Ruth go. So that cut bath time pretty short and hopefully it will be a short night too because I am exhausted. Thanks for a great weekend. I love you french fry.

Lazy in the river

Yesterday we had an awesome day at Soak City. We took Hunter, his friend Sean, and Logan. Mallorey and Aunt Heidi met us there a little later and you had so much fun with all of them. They were all so good about checking in and staying together. When we first got there we went around in the lazy river and you weren't too sure about it. Then we went over to the kids area and you had sooooo much fun going down the slides. After lunch we headed back over to the lazy river and you took the term lazy to a whole new level.... yep, you fell asleep about half way through our 2nd time around. You were sitting with Aunt Heidi and somehow she got you to fall asleep, even with all the noise. You were so cute- life vest and all. So I took you back to our area and you slept for about an hour. Before we knew it, it was already time to go. So we packed up all our goodies and headed home. I love that you completely understand the term, "lazy river." :) Love you french fry.

Beach Day

Today we went to the beach again and had so much fun. When we first got there it was very overcast and cold, but that didn't stop you. You wanted to run right in the water. After a little bit of playing it was time for a snack, which turned in to lunch :)

Then you played with some sand toys with all the little girls

Before I knew it, you were back in the water. You wanted to go out as far as the girls were going, but it was way too deep for you. You were very brave and kept trying though. One time, you even got knocked down by a wave and went all the way under. You didn't even cry or anything when I pulled you up. After that scare (for me) we went back up and played a little bit more before finally coming home. Here you are with Kelsey and Kayla just hanging out. They are soo good to you, even when you knock down their sandcastles.
Love you french fry. Thanks for another exciting day. Tomorrow won't be as exciting, as mommy has another Dr. appt, but grandma will be coming over to play with you :) So that should be fun, fun , fun...

Fun Summer Days

We have been very busy lately, so I haven't been able to post anything. Last Friday, we had a lot of fun hanging out with Cici, Uncle Doug, Max and Ginger. You showed them just how much you love pizza.

On Saturday, we were soooo tired we just hung out at home all day. We did a little cleaning and swimming in your little pool and we even had a picnic after daddy went to get us sandwiches. Grandma and Grandpa came by after they went shopping so we all just hung out for the rest of the evening.
On Sunday, we thought we were smart and headed out to the Orange County Fair. What were we thinking???? It was soooo hot we only stayed about 2 hours and then headed straight to grandma's to swim for the rest of the day. We didn't even call either, we just showed up:) When we got there we saw that Uncle Mark, Hunter and Hunter's friend, Zeffy, were there too, so we had a nice afternoon in the pool. You are getting to be such a big girl. You were swimming all by yourself (with your arm floaties and swim bathing suit on of course). But you wanted to "do it myself" and you did.
Yesterday, you went back to Jen Jen's because I had to go to work for a little while. This was your last day at Jen Jen's for a while because they are going on vacation this week for over a week. I know you will miss them. :(
After Jen Jen's we came home, had a little snack, went to pick up the Seyfrieds and then off to Knott's we went. We had sooo much fun at Knott's last night. You went on a bunch of rides, including, the LOG RIDE!!!! Not only did you go on the Log Ride, but you sat in the very front of the log. You were sooo brave, you didn't cry once, in fact I think you enjoyed it a little bit. Your face coming down the drop though is priceless. I bought a picture of it from the park and am trying to scan it to post.. it is sooooo cute. Well, on the way to the car at 9pm Logan asked if you could come over and play for a little while. You were already in your jammies and playing with your ear (clear sign of fatigue). So I told Logan if you fell asleep on the way home, then No you couldn't play, but if you stayed awake you could play for a little bit. Little did I know you would be WIDE awake. I even tried to drive slowly just to give you more time to fll asleep. But you didn't, so we played for a little while and you had a blast. You played with blocks and had soooo much fun. I didn't know how I was going to get you out of there because every time I said, "We gotta go" you replied with, "No, I stay" and last time we were there you threw a bit of a tantrum when it was time to go. This time I figured it out and told you about our plans for today (the beach) which excited you enough to give kisses and get in the car. So hopefully today, if you ever wake up, we will be heading out to Seal Beach again to play. I'm sure we'll have a few more stories after this adventure too. Love you Kendyl. Thanks for being so awesome.

Where's the camera when u need it?

Today after we got home, you took a little nap. Then we walked next door to feed Zia and the fishies. You are getting good at feeding Uncle Mark's fish. When we came back to the "hot box" (our house) I opened the back sliding door to let some air in. Right away you walked over the blinds and said, "Where pool?" I was hanging up some laundry as you walked out back. Then I heard a big THUNK. I went in your room to look out your window, but didn't see you. I did notice that you knocked over your new pool which was standing up against the wall and was now upside down in the flower bed. But I didn't see you, so I walked back into the living room because I figured you came back in the house after knocking over the pool. But you weren't in the house...?? So I walked out back to find you and I heard, "Momma! Momma!" but I didn't see you. Next thing I knew the pool was lifting off the ground and I saw two little feet. You were stuck underneath your pool and were doing 'squats' as you were lifting it up to try to get out. It was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. You never once got scared, cried, whined - nothing. I just lifted it up and out you came. Then I turned it over and you stared sliding down it without the water in it. You really love that pool. I just wish it didn't attack so quickly. :) Love you french fry. Thanks for being such a good sport.

"Oh my gosh"

You have found a new favorite saying... "Oh my gosh" You are so cute when you say it too. Sometimes it will be relevant, but other times it will be really out of the blue which makes it even funnier. I'm not sure where you picked it up either, but it sure is cute. I'll catch it on video one of these days. Love you french fry.

Shoe line

Here is the the picture of her tan line from her shoes Saturday. Wow!!!

Fun in the Sun

Yesterday we went to grandma and grandpa's to celebrate Uncle Doug and Hunter's birthday and boy was it hot....
You, however, looked cute as usual

but it didn't take long for you to get in the pool.
You mostly swam with Aunt Heidi and Mallorey and loved every minute of it. You even got really brave and wanted to jump in a bunch of times.
.

I think this was your favorite part of the day...snow cones on the boat (of course we had to get you your own spoon because you have to do everything yourself now a days)

After swimming, we had dinner and then you played/squirted people with squirt guns until it was time to go home. What another fun day we had. You are such a trooper, Kendyl. I love you sooooo much. Thanks for always being such a good sport and for always having a good time no matter what we do.

Soaked in the City

Today we went to Soak City for the very first time. Neither one of us had been there so it was a new experience for us both. And boy, was it fun. Jen Jen and Nana were there too. They brought Tori and 3 of her friends for Tori's bday. Saying you had a blast is an understatement. We stayed for about 5 hrs and man were we exhausted when we got home. I take that back - I was exhausted, you were ready to go. I thought for sure you would fall asleep on the way home, but nope. In fact, you are still running wild right now. You just had a bath and that usually calms you down, but not tonight. Well, here are some pictures from your first Soak City day. I'm sure there will be many more to follow :) Love you. Thanks for a great day.
Here you are posing on the turtle.

You were having a splash contest with Nana, but I think you lost

Gotta love that smile

Once we took off that darn life vest, you loved the slide. You went down it about 30 times all by your self:)

Chillaxin with Jen Jen

Splashing with Jen Jen (again, I think you lost)

The best part about today is that you kept those shoes on while in the water, and now you have a shoe tan line.... Love it. I've got to get a picture of it :) Love u

Dinner and a movie

Tonight while we were supposed to be celebrating Auntie Evonne's bday, you found yourself on a little date. Braden, mommy's friend Lisa's son, came over too and the two of you had a great time. At first you were both a little shy, but before we knew it you were sharing each other's dinner. You apparently wanted his macaroni and he wanted your spahetti. So you two did what most couples can't do....compromised:)

After dinner you played in the backyard and then we had birthday cake and came in and watched Nemo. You two were very comfortable with each other by this point and then you decided to take it to first base. You kept tackling poor Braden and hugging on him. It was very funny. He even climbed up on the coffee table and you "spanked his bottom." In this video, Braden actually says "Daddy," even though Lisa was trying to get you to say, "Who's your Daddy?" :) It was hilarious.

After that it was on - you two had us cracking up until they left. Here are some of your funny moments together.

Overall, we had a great night. However you still haven't gone to sleep and it's almost midnight. Looks like we're going to sleep in tomorrow.
:) Love you, french fry and happy birthday Evonne.

Applesauce, our hero

Today after Jen Jen's we went to do a little shopping. Well, 2 hrs later we were still there and had a bit of a dilemna. Mommy bought you a plastic pool with a cool slide, but it wouldn't fit into mommy's car. We were up a creek without a paddle as some might say. We called everyone we could think of with a truck and while everyone agreed to come help, Uncle Applesauce (Eddie) was the closest. So we waited for Uncle Applesauce and he came and saved the day. Not only did he bring it home for us, he put the rail on so you could use it right away, which was very frustrating. So thank you Uncle Applesauce for making Kendyl's day. She had a blast in her new pool.

Happy Birthday Cousin Hunter and Auntie Evonne

Today we have to wish 2 special people Happy Birthday. First your cousin and neighbor, Hunter. We will celebrate his bday this weekend. And next we need to wish Auntie Evonne a happy bday. Yesterday we spent some time with Evonne and Abbey so we wished her an early bday but today she turns 24 again (+ a few more).

So happy birthday to you both... Have a great day

It's a doggy-dog world

Here are you and Max checking things out on our recent visit to see Cici. She got her cast off her ankle, so we went to visit and see how she was doing. You had a lot of fun with her and the dogs. Love you french fry.

Another month older

Well today you are another month older and that much closer to two. I can't believe you will be 2 in just 2 months. Wow, how the time has flown. You are such a mature, intelligent, and entertaining little girl. You make every person that comes in to contact with you smile and you really have a good sense of humor. I would be here all night if I tried to list all of your recent accomplishments so I won't even go there. Let's just say you are growing like a weed, talking in pretty much complete sentences, copying everything that anyone says, using the potty a little bit more and are giving the best hugs and kisses a mom could ask for. You amaze me every day with your intelligence. I know most moms thinks their kid is a genius, but this mom knows it. You are a truly special little girl and I know that I am the luckiest mom in the world. Thanks for making each day so enjoyable to live. I love french fry.

1st Beach Day

Today was your first "real" beach day. You have been a few times, but only on the pier or just to put your feet in the sand. Today you actually got dirty and played in the water. It was soooo much fun. You had a great time running from the water for the first few minutes, then before I knew it you were walking out by yourself.

You weren't very scared of the waves, which kinda scared mommy a bit. Luckily, there were many people/friends to look out for you. Mommy's friend, Kim, and her daughters Kelsey and Kayla were there along with Aunt Cyndi and Brandon. And wouldn't you know it, mommy's old student, Timothy was sitting right next to us with his brother and sister. You had fun with them at Disneyland a few weeks ago, and they were happy to see you again.
Here are some pics from our fun day...

running away from the water monster :)

you and Sierra hanging out. She helped out a lot.

"hmm what shall I do with this sand?"

"Here you go, Brandon. Enjoy!" (true love)

Once you got comfy, you had a blast.

especially playing with Kelsey. On the way home you kept asking , "Where Kelsey go?"

Here's Brandon... he decided to eat a real "sand-wich" for lunch. hahaha

and here are you two being silly.

It didn't take long for you to crash once we got in the car. I don't blame you - it was a great day.

Love you french fry. Can't wait for tomorrow.

4th of July fun

Here are some fun pictures from our great 4th of July celebration.
