Getting ready

Today we had a fun afternoon/evening. After I picked you up from Jen Jen's, we headed to the grocery store to get lots of goodies for our Halloween party tomorrow. Then we stopped by the Seyfrieds house for minute and then came home. You helped bring in the groceries and were so much fun. You watched Horton hears a Who while I put everything away and then we started to cook. We made a bunch of treats for tomorrow. After Daddy got home, we carved your pumpkin. You weren't sure at first, and it took awhile for you to get going. You were literally using this huge spoon and were getting one seed at a time. It was hilarious.

After we helped you a little, we asked you what kind of face you want your pumpkin to have. You said a sad face. I asked you to show me what a sad face looks like and here's what you gave me.

We tried to match your pumpkin up as much as we could...

Then we took him outside to keep an eye on the house. You gave him the sweetest goodnight kiss.

I am so excited about Halloween tomorrow. I hope you have a great time. I love you

Little Miss Sassypants

Lately you have become a very sassy little thing. You have been bossy, and well, just plain rude. You're favorite word to say is "stupid" which put you in time-out each time. Apparently that is not working very well :( You are also coming up with some very interesting sayings, "Stop it," "Go away" "Go do your work" "Leave me alone" "Shut up" "You're a pig" and unfortunately the list could continue. I know everyone is going to say, "It's those terrible 2's" but come on, you are smarter than that :) I really hope it is just a nasty little faze, because I am not enjoying all the time you are in trouble lately. I miss my sweet little french fry. The good thing is, at least it's not all day, every day. Well, I love you sassy pants, but let's work on the not being so rude issue, please :)

Look at me, I'm Sandra Dee

The other day, we took a break from car shopping and stopped to see

Grammy and Grampy. Well, Mallorey and Logan were there and they were playing dress-up with all of Grammy's costumes. It didn't take you long to join in the fun. You are so cute:) Thanks for being such a great daughter. I love you.

Pumpkin Patch fun

Today we took a break from car shopping and headed to the pumpkin patch. Aunt Cici met us there because it was right by her house. You had a lot of fun at the pumpkin patch. You rode the train, kinda fed some animals, went in the pumpkin jumper, threw a few small pumpkins on the ground, went down a gigantic slide with daddy, and even sat on a few pumpkins. You were such a good girl.

Love you little pumpkin. I can't wait for next weekend :)

Does it get any cuter?

Today you were sooo stylish in her mini skirt and boots (boats, as you call them). Love you, french fry!

Crash Landing

Today you and I had a very scary experience. On our way home mommy got in a car accident. Thankfully, neither one of us were injured. You were a bit scared and cried a little, but you were really brave the whole time.I think mommy's car is headed to the graveyard.

This day has really put things into perspective for me. At times, I am so tired that I often lose my patience and get frustrated with you. But after today, I have realized that you can bounce around, scream, cry, want to watch dinosaurs a million times and even say "mommy" every second for the rest of your life and it won't bother me one bit. I love you french fry. Thanks for being so tough today.

Paci Free

Yesterday we started you on the road of being "Paci free." We have been talking to you about what a big girl you are and how only babies need pacis. We have been talking about who the babies are that we know so that maybe we could give your pacis to one of them. You decided you wanted to give them to Baby Tessa because "babies need the pacis" So last night when you asked for a paci we told you that we don't have any because we gave them to Tessa. You weren't sure about the idea after all, and started to get a little upset, but before we knew it, you had found something to distract you and then you were fine. I caved this morning at 4 when you woke up looking for it, and I wanted another hour sleep. :(
Today at Jen Jen's you asked for it again and she told you that we gave them to Tessa and you went down for your nap without it. You are such a big girl. Hopefully, it is not a fluke and we can all be paci free. Thanks for being such a big girl. I love you!!

GO ANGELS!!

Today you sported you Angel gear to celebrate their great victory yesterday. I know Jen Jen and Dan loved every speck of red you had on (They are Dodger fans).

GOOOOOOOO ANGELS!!!!

Rough Weekend

This was not our best weekend. You woke up from you afternoon nap Saturday burning up. You had a fever of 102.7, which got as high as 103.4 We gave you some Tylenol and you seemed to be doing a little better. You were still quite lethargic for a good potion of the afternoon. We got your fever down but it came back. We yo-yo'd with it the rest of the night and even until today. Thankfully, you are still your normal, usually happy self. You don't have any other issues going on (that we can physically see) and you seem to be in good spirits. I wish I had a magic wand to rid you of whatever your little body is trying to fight off, cause if I did, I'd kick his butt for you :) If you don't kick this tomorrow, we'll go see Dr. Tran and see what she says. Well, thanks for being such a great sport about this. I love you.
