Fun first week

This was our first week of summer vacation, and boy did we have fun!!! We actually started off Monday by sleeping in and cleaning the house. Mallorey and Logan spent the night Monday and Tuesday we went to the park and then swimming at grammy and grampy's. I have a feeling we may be spending a lot of days at grammy and grampy's this summmer.

Wednesday, we met Hailee, Aunt Netty, Grammy, Grampy, Mal and Logan all at the movies to see Marmaduke. We got there early enough to go in and play some games and you had a blast.

The movie was cute, although you fell asleep half way through it. I though I was the only one who slept through movies:)
That evening, Daddy took you to the park to play again...

On Thursday, Brandon and Aunt Cyndi came over to play in the water with you. You had so much fun with them, and they even brought you some chicken nuggets for lunch. Thanks guys.

You guys played for a while and then they had to leave :( Daddy was home early so he helped me clean up he garage and put some boxes from my classroom up... Then you started playing "Handy Woman" You put on the tool belt and glasses that Kim gave you and started "fixing" everything. It was very cute. :)

On Friday, you really slept in (almost 10) and then mysteriously called Grammy from my cell phone and apparently invited them over for coffee. So, of course, they came :) They even brought you a donut. They stayed for a little while and then we just played in the garage and watched a movie. Then we went over to Mal and Logan's to help them paint their bedrooms. Mommy loves to paint, so I had a great time. You had fun playing in the trampoline and eating everything you could find. Daddy picked us up later and we came home and crashed.

Saturday, Jen Jen, Dan, Tori and Sophia all came over to play with you and have dinner. You have missed them sooooooo much this week and we wanted to thank them again for taking such great care of you these last years. You probably won't get to go back to them since mommy isn't working these days :(

But we will definitely get together often cause they are like family now :)

Today we headed back over to grammy and grampy's house for yummy dinner, laughs, swimming and even smores. We always have fun when we go over there, and this time was no different.

I think tomorrow we need to just chill and hang out. Well, thanks for a great first week home french fry. I love you sooooo much and love being with you every minuteof the day.

My Dad!!!!

A little girl needs her daddy
To love her with manly charm,
To soothe her when she’s hurt,
And keep her safe from harm.

A little girl needs her dad
To show her a man who’s good,
To help her make right choices,
As only a father could.

A little girl needs her father
Just to be aware,
He’ll always be there for her
To sustain her and to care.

You’ve been all these things and more, Dad.
I hope that you can see
How much I treasure you;
You mean everything to me.

I love you, Daddy! Happy Father's Day

Happy Birthday Cici

We love you Cici, have a great day!!!

Sad day

Well today is your last day at Jen Jen's and mommy's last day at work. It's a happy day, yet a bit sad. You have been with Jen Jen since you were 3 months old and she has loved you like you were one of her own. We were very fortunate to find such a great "2nd mom" to care for you and love you as much as she does. You also gained 2 new sisters in the process who you love very much, and a "2nd dad" in Dan. We are very grateful for all they have done for you and us (even if they are Dodger fans). So thank you Nieves family for being such a big part of Kendyl's life. She has truly been blessed to have you all in her life and so have we. Love you guys :)

Sorry Dan, not sure why we don't have any pics with you and her.

Go Lakers

Yesterday Jen Jen dropped you off at Grammy and Grampy's so you could play with your cousin, Hailee, for a while before I came to get you. When I got there you decided you wanted to go swimming so we lathered you down, threw on your suit and in you went. It took you a few minutes to really get going, but once in you were good to go. Mallorey, Logan and Aunt Heidi came over too and they swam with you and Hailee. Then grammy made some yummy lasagne and we had a nice dinner, along with a few sno-cones. Daddy wasn't there because he got to go to the Laker game. We were all very jealous of him but happy cause he finally got to have some Daddy time. :) You had a lot of fun playing while we were watching the game, in fact the sugar rush that took over your body was an awesome sight to see! We left once the game was over and came home, got in your jammies, and relaxed. Daddy was home within 10 minutes and the moment you heard the garage open, you flew off the couch and ran to the garage to give him a big hug. He was so happy to see you (I'm sure the fact that the Lakers won made it that much more sweet for him) Well, today I think you are going to have a great day with Jen Jen. I can't wait for you to tell me all about it. Love you.

New tub

The other day daddy made a nice hot foot bath for me cause I had a rough day. You were dying to get in and wouldn't you know it.... you loved it.

In fact you had so much fun in it that daddy picked up the whole thing and put it in the real tub and you played for another 30 minutes in there. You are so cute. Love you french fry. 5 more days of work for me and then I'm all yours:)

Getting harder

Boy, for some reason it is getting harder and harder to post things often. I don't know what it is, it's not like you aren't doing amazingly cool things all the time. But for some reason, I just can't find the time, actually I think I just can't find the energy. I promise I will try a lot harder to update this.
Here are a few pictures of you lately...
Here you are making pizza for Daddy for dinner

This was taken over the weekend when we went to see Sesame Street Live

And this is you after you turned into a pirate with your big girl panties on your head. I don't know what it is about potty training that doesn't have you very interested, but at least I got them on some part of you :)

Well I only have 8 days left of work and then it's you and me for the summer. I hope you are looking as forward to it as I am. Love you, french fry

Swimming cows??? Huh??

Yesterday you and Hailee both went all by yourselves in Grammy and Grampy's pool. You both had your arm floaties on, and you were both sooooo brave. We were all very proud of you both. We started out by calling you guys fish: you a starfish (cause that's what's on your floaties) and Hailee a flying fish (cause she had a noodle under her at one point that looked like wings) but before we knew it you both turned in to cows???? I never knew cows could swim so well.
Great job girls!! Before we know it those floaties will be off (hopefully) :)
