fish and tricks

Today after I picked you up from Jen Jen's house we came home and played in the garage for a little while. On the way home, we sang your new favorite song about the food chain of fish (Which I'll get on video soon). Then I gave you a few M&Ms to snack on and you decided to do this....

Explanation: You didn't want the "great white shark" (from the fish song) to get your M&Ms so you hid them so he couldn't see them. Then when I said you were tricky, it triggered a new trick that you saw Sophia do today at Jen Jens. When I picked you up she showed me how she could throw mini marshmallows up and catch them in her mouth and I told her she was tricky. So when I called you tricky, you did the same thing, except you didn't actually throw it up, you just pretended. Soooo funny!!! I love how you relate things together so much. Such a genius!!!!

Shaking what her momma gave her

Tonight you decided to take off your pants and then put them back on backward, inside out, and through one leg only. Then you came in your play room and started doing this....

Here is a pic of your pants on, which ended up like a skirt with a tail. So silly

You thought you were soooooo cute, and I have to say, so did I. You were just shaking that little booty all over the place :) I love you, french fry. Thanks for the laugh.

Tootsie Rollers

Today you had your very first tumbling class, called tootsie rollers. Daddy got to take you and he said you did awesome. You were very excited for the class, especially since you already love doing somersaults. This morning we got bright and early so we could get ready. Once dressed, you were a little excited and started dancing around for me...

Daddy said you were a little shy at first, but then you warmed up to everyone and had the best somersaults there...not to mention you were the cutest :)
Here are some shots that Daddy and Auntie Evonne took of you during the class.

After your class Daddy took you to the park to play. You went to a new park and had a lot of fun there too. What a great day you had.
Thanks Auntie Evonne for helping out today since I couldn't be there :( I can't wait to see you in action next week Kendyl. I love you.

Friday Night Lights

Tonight we went to watch your cousin, Logan, play one of his flag football games. He did awesome, of course, and they barely lost.

Your favorite part of the game is the quarter that he has to sit out because you get to sit with him and love on him. You just love that little guy so much, it's really cute. Well, great game Logan. We love you.

Silly Silly

I'm not sure what was so funny, but this lasted about 10 minutes.

If that doesn't help me get through this week, nothing will. Thanks Kendyl. I love you.

The final days of break

These last 2 days of our break together have been pretty fun. Yesterday Brandon and Hailee came over to swim with you in your little pool. You guys had alot of fun and were all so well behaved.

I think, however, you all enjoyed the ice cream cones a little more than the pool.
Today was avery special day because it is Aunt Cyndi's birthday. We met her and Brandon for breakfast this morning where you had a yummy Minnie Mouse pancake and got to play with Brandon.

Then we drove out to have you fitted for your flower girl dress. You are going to be the most beautiful flower girl ever.. I just hope you cooperate:) After that we had lunch at Blue Agave and had the best waitress in the world, your cousin Coral. That was yummy. On the way home, you entertained me with your newest favorite song...
(Please make sure your sound is up nice and loud for this, cause it's sorta hard to hear)

Then we did a little shopping, came home for a little bit, then headed out to dinner for Aunt Cyndi's birthday. Yep, that's right...all 3 meals out today.Yuck!!!

After dinner we got some frozen yogurt then went to play with Mallorey and Logan. We finally came home and are presently trying to wear you down, without much success I am sad to say. Well, thanks for more great memories. I love you!

Knott's

Today we went to Knott's Berry Farm and boy did we have fun. We were there from open to close, something I haven't done in many, many years. We met mommy's friend, Kim and her daughters Kelsey and Kayla there at 10. Right away the three of you hit Camp Snoopy and had alot of fun.

It's so cool to watch you get to go on so many rides now, just like the big kids.

Your favorite Camp Snoopy ride is the Tug Boat.
You kept your hands up the whole time.
Your least favorite ride in Camp Snoopy is the Camp Bus. You don't seem to enjoy the "falling" feeling very much.

After a few hours with Kelsey and Kayla, you decided to take a nap and they decided it was time to leave. So you crashed for a little bit, which was perfect time because I was able to find a nice tree and people watch for a while. Before we knew it, Aunt Heidi and Mallorey showed up. You must have felt them or something because you woke up right away and wanted to stay awake. So we watched a show, went on more rides, had some dinner, had some sugar, had more sugar and then had more sugar.

On the train with Mallorey

Your first Dippin Dots

Your first gigantic sucker

Here's a small example of your sugar overload. The video really doesn't do you any justice. It was waaaaay worse than this.

We finally got home around 10:30. I still can't believe you were such a trooper for such a long day. You stayed awake all the way home singing. Hopefully, you will fall asleep pretty soon. I love you french fry. Thanks for a fun day.

Pretend City

Today me, you, Hailee, and Aunt Netty met Aunt Cyndi, Brandon, Lisa, and Brayden at Pretend City in Irvine. It was soooo much fun. Everything there was toddler sized, which made it even better. You got to do so many fun things. There was an art room where you got to make a coffee filter butterfly, and you and Hailee painted the window.

Then we went to the Marina and you got to fish and play in the water a little.

Here is where we tried to get you both to give us the "peace" sign... Didn't quite work.

Next we headed to the Doctor because, unfortunately, Hailee broke her leg and needed crutches. But you were a great nurse for her and took good care of her.

We hit the beach to play in the sand

The grocery store where you did some shopping, cashier work, and even weighed your goodies.

The farm, where you raked the dirt, planted lettuce, and hung some apples in the trees.

You also built in the construction zone, vacuumed someones house, pumped some gas, and played fire chief with Hailee

Here you are in the Cafe, fixing me some eggs, which were quite delicious.

Then you hopped in the car for your exit ride.

We left Pretend City and went to lunch with everyone. You had a few meltdown moments, but did overall did pretty well. After lunch, though... you decided to show Brandon some extra love and gave him a huge smooch. I swear it like 10 seconds long. Geesh!

You and Hailee both crashed on the way home, which made me and Aunt Netty quite jealous.

But the best part of the day was on the way home when we got the extreme pleasure of witnessing this.... (I warn you...it's kinda gross)
Thanks for an awesome day, Kendyl. I love you and I'm not pretending:)
