What an Egg-citing Day

Today started off with a nice visit from the Easter Bunny. He brought you a nice basket full of Play-Doh, toys, bathing suits, candy, and even a movie. You were so excited when you saw your basket. After opening your basket, we went out back to find all the eggs that the silly rabbit hid from you. You did a really nice job finding them all. After the hunt, we came in, had some beakfast and then you dug into your Play-Doh. Before we knew it, it was time to take a bath and get ready to go to Grammy and Grampy's for our Easter dinner/hunt. You actually fell asleep on the way there and were able to get about an hour nap before we started the party. You got some really cool gifts from everyone, but you especially got excited about the sidewalk chalk. Next it was time for the egg hunt. You found 12 eggs, 4 of which had $1 bills in them. Some had confetti in them, which you decided to smash on Daddy's head, and the rest had candy. I finally got you to pose and "kinda" smile for me. Before dinner we all sat around and played with all the toys you guys got. Then we had some Sno Cones and while we were relaxing in the backyard, we noticed (actually Aunt Netty noticed first) that we were having an earthquake. We were all outside and it was a rolling one, but we got to witness the pool's reaction to the quake. It was really cool to see.
This video was taken during the actual rolling. The pool didn't finally calm down until about 40 min after the quake stopped. We were all happy to be together, but still a little shaken up. You were quite calm throughout the whole thing, even when the water came all the way up to where you were sitting. We then had dinner and played some more, until it was time to come home. What an exciting day we had today. Happy Easter my little french fry. I love you
