What a fun weekend

Well, we finally got home today around noon and boy did we have a good time. Friday night we surprised Daddy and took him to Curt's game. Your Auntie Lisa, cousins Garryl, Aaren and Evonne were there, as well as Daddy's friend Ronnie and his daughters; Milan, Jade, and Shane. Everyone was so excited to see you.
Here you are running around during halftime.
Curt's team won which was really cool. After the game we drove to our hotel in Ontario. This was your first time in a hotel and after you woke up from the drive you were in rare form. Here are a couple of videos to prove it.

Needless to say, me and Daddy didn't get much sleep that night. And we learned how important it is for you to sleep in your own bed. Not only for you, but for us as well:) We woke up Saturday and gave you a bath before we headed out for the day. We weren't real sure where we were going, but we had our Thomas Guide and we were set. We headed out towards San Bernardino because cousin Curt was playing there at 7:30pm. Before we knew it we were headed up the mountain heading towards Lake Arrowhead. It was a really scary drive because it was sooooo foggy. You managed to sleep the entire way which was perfect. We pulled into the Village at Lake Arrowhead because we wanted to walk around. Plus we had 7 hours to kill before the game. So we got out and it was then that I realized that I forgot your big jacket at home. Duh! Luckilly they had a very expensive shop there that only sold boys Hurley heavy coated sweatshirts. Exactly what we needed...not. But we couldn't let your freeze on your first trip to the snow, so we bought you the sweatshirt. How does a snow covered village not have any jackets for girls??? Whatever, you still rocked it like no one could. Once we got you all bundled up for the 37 degree cold,we walked around and you discovered snow. You weren't quite sure about it at first, but you quickly caught on. After playing for a little bit, we took Daddy to lunch for his birthday. We went to a place that was right on the lake and had the best time (thanks to the heaters) :)
Here are some pictures of you in the snow/ice :)

After lunch we did a little shopping and playing and then we headed back down the mountain. You were getting tired and it was really cold.

Now we only had 4 hours to spare before the game. Our original plan was to drive home after the Saturday game, but we all needed a serious nap, so we got a room right by the college and rested until game time. Your cousins team just happened to be staying in the same hotel, so he came up to visit for a little bit. We took Daddy out for a special birthday dinner where you picked him out the perfect present...

and then we went to the game. They lost, but your cousin played much better than the night before so we were all proud :)
After the game we (me, you, Daddy, cousin Evonne, her boyfriend Gio, and Curt) all ended up in our room. They were going to get some food and we were going to get some zzzz's. So we said our good-byes and went to bed. You did much better last night than Friday. You kept Daddy up for a while as you constantly twist and turn, but for the most part...it was a pretty normal night.
We didn't get up until about 9:30.
Clearly you were having a bad hair morning, so we brushed you down, got dressed and hit the road. You slept most of the way home. I had soooooo much fun with you, not only this weekend, but the last 2 weeks. Thanks for being my right hand lady and hanging with me. I love you so much, but unfortunately, it's back to work tomorrow. Love you french fry.
