Tardy for the Party

You have become a little singer lately. You love singing your ABC's, 5 little monkeys, wheels on the bus, twinkle twinkle, and of course you new favorites: Tardy for the Party (Real Housewives) and Paparazzi (Lagy Gaga). You are sooo cute and funny. Today you are another month older and I am loving every minute we have together. Love you french fry.

Getting so old

Here is a picture of you from exactly one year ago today......

Wow, you are getting to be such a big girl these days. In fact, tonight Daddy and I just put in a movie while you were "drawing an elephant" and Daddy said, "Kendyl, come watch the movie." And you nicely repeated, "No, I'm drawing right now. I'm busy." We both started cracking up. You are the best. Love you french fry.

Halloween

Yesterday was your 3rd and best Halloween ever. Every year gets a little better. I was quite nervous about how you would hold up considering you had a 20 min nap all day, but you surprised me and did great. We had sooo much fun snacking, playing games, eating, laughing, watching football and baseball and especially trick-or-treating. Here are just a few highlights of the entire day.
Testing the mummy fingers

Our graveyard/pumpkin patch

Dressing up before the party even started

You kept this thingin your mouth for 30 min straight. The spit bubbles were awesome

Mal and grampy trying to pass the jack-o-lantern using only their necks

You wanted to play too

Daddy and Jen Jen gave it a try

Grammy and the girls took 2nd place in the mummy wrap game

The boys were the winners of the Wrap the Mummy game.

Again, you wanted to play

Brains and eyeballs for dinner

Off for trick-or-treating

You and Mal (she is the best cousin ever)

I know you had a great time last night because you fell asleep at 10 and didn't make a peep until 8 and right now you are going on your 3rd hour for a nap. I had alot of fun too. You were such a brave, big girl, especially when we took your candy away for the night. YOu didn't complain once:) Thanks for being such an easy going little girl. You make every day sooooooo enjoyable and thanks for always making me and everyone else smile. I love you, dinosaur;)

Getting ready

Today we had a fun afternoon/evening. After I picked you up from Jen Jen's, we headed to the grocery store to get lots of goodies for our Halloween party tomorrow. Then we stopped by the Seyfrieds house for minute and then came home. You helped bring in the groceries and were so much fun. You watched Horton hears a Who while I put everything away and then we started to cook. We made a bunch of treats for tomorrow. After Daddy got home, we carved your pumpkin. You weren't sure at first, and it took awhile for you to get going. You were literally using this huge spoon and were getting one seed at a time. It was hilarious.

After we helped you a little, we asked you what kind of face you want your pumpkin to have. You said a sad face. I asked you to show me what a sad face looks like and here's what you gave me.

We tried to match your pumpkin up as much as we could...

Then we took him outside to keep an eye on the house. You gave him the sweetest goodnight kiss.

I am so excited about Halloween tomorrow. I hope you have a great time. I love you

Little Miss Sassypants

Lately you have become a very sassy little thing. You have been bossy, and well, just plain rude. You're favorite word to say is "stupid" which put you in time-out each time. Apparently that is not working very well :( You are also coming up with some very interesting sayings, "Stop it," "Go away" "Go do your work" "Leave me alone" "Shut up" "You're a pig" and unfortunately the list could continue. I know everyone is going to say, "It's those terrible 2's" but come on, you are smarter than that :) I really hope it is just a nasty little faze, because I am not enjoying all the time you are in trouble lately. I miss my sweet little french fry. The good thing is, at least it's not all day, every day. Well, I love you sassy pants, but let's work on the not being so rude issue, please :)

Look at me, I'm Sandra Dee

The other day, we took a break from car shopping and stopped to see

Grammy and Grampy. Well, Mallorey and Logan were there and they were playing dress-up with all of Grammy's costumes. It didn't take you long to join in the fun. You are so cute:) Thanks for being such a great daughter. I love you.

Pumpkin Patch fun

Today we took a break from car shopping and headed to the pumpkin patch. Aunt Cici met us there because it was right by her house. You had a lot of fun at the pumpkin patch. You rode the train, kinda fed some animals, went in the pumpkin jumper, threw a few small pumpkins on the ground, went down a gigantic slide with daddy, and even sat on a few pumpkins. You were such a good girl.

Love you little pumpkin. I can't wait for next weekend :)
