The final days of break

These last 2 days of our break together have been pretty fun. Yesterday Brandon and Hailee came over to swim with you in your little pool. You guys had alot of fun and were all so well behaved.

I think, however, you all enjoyed the ice cream cones a little more than the pool.
Today was avery special day because it is Aunt Cyndi's birthday. We met her and Brandon for breakfast this morning where you had a yummy Minnie Mouse pancake and got to play with Brandon.

Then we drove out to have you fitted for your flower girl dress. You are going to be the most beautiful flower girl ever.. I just hope you cooperate:) After that we had lunch at Blue Agave and had the best waitress in the world, your cousin Coral. That was yummy. On the way home, you entertained me with your newest favorite song...
(Please make sure your sound is up nice and loud for this, cause it's sorta hard to hear)

Then we did a little shopping, came home for a little bit, then headed out to dinner for Aunt Cyndi's birthday. Yep, that's right...all 3 meals out today.Yuck!!!

After dinner we got some frozen yogurt then went to play with Mallorey and Logan. We finally came home and are presently trying to wear you down, without much success I am sad to say. Well, thanks for more great memories. I love you!

Knott's

Today we went to Knott's Berry Farm and boy did we have fun. We were there from open to close, something I haven't done in many, many years. We met mommy's friend, Kim and her daughters Kelsey and Kayla there at 10. Right away the three of you hit Camp Snoopy and had alot of fun.

It's so cool to watch you get to go on so many rides now, just like the big kids.

Your favorite Camp Snoopy ride is the Tug Boat.
You kept your hands up the whole time.
Your least favorite ride in Camp Snoopy is the Camp Bus. You don't seem to enjoy the "falling" feeling very much.

After a few hours with Kelsey and Kayla, you decided to take a nap and they decided it was time to leave. So you crashed for a little bit, which was perfect time because I was able to find a nice tree and people watch for a while. Before we knew it, Aunt Heidi and Mallorey showed up. You must have felt them or something because you woke up right away and wanted to stay awake. So we watched a show, went on more rides, had some dinner, had some sugar, had more sugar and then had more sugar.

On the train with Mallorey

Your first Dippin Dots

Your first gigantic sucker

Here's a small example of your sugar overload. The video really doesn't do you any justice. It was waaaaay worse than this.

We finally got home around 10:30. I still can't believe you were such a trooper for such a long day. You stayed awake all the way home singing. Hopefully, you will fall asleep pretty soon. I love you french fry. Thanks for a fun day.

Pretend City

Today me, you, Hailee, and Aunt Netty met Aunt Cyndi, Brandon, Lisa, and Brayden at Pretend City in Irvine. It was soooo much fun. Everything there was toddler sized, which made it even better. You got to do so many fun things. There was an art room where you got to make a coffee filter butterfly, and you and Hailee painted the window.

Then we went to the Marina and you got to fish and play in the water a little.

Here is where we tried to get you both to give us the "peace" sign... Didn't quite work.

Next we headed to the Doctor because, unfortunately, Hailee broke her leg and needed crutches. But you were a great nurse for her and took good care of her.

We hit the beach to play in the sand

The grocery store where you did some shopping, cashier work, and even weighed your goodies.

The farm, where you raked the dirt, planted lettuce, and hung some apples in the trees.

You also built in the construction zone, vacuumed someones house, pumped some gas, and played fire chief with Hailee

Here you are in the Cafe, fixing me some eggs, which were quite delicious.

Then you hopped in the car for your exit ride.

We left Pretend City and went to lunch with everyone. You had a few meltdown moments, but did overall did pretty well. After lunch, though... you decided to show Brandon some extra love and gave him a huge smooch. I swear it like 10 seconds long. Geesh!

You and Hailee both crashed on the way home, which made me and Aunt Netty quite jealous.

But the best part of the day was on the way home when we got the extreme pleasure of witnessing this.... (I warn you...it's kinda gross)
Thanks for an awesome day, Kendyl. I love you and I'm not pretending:)

Fun Monday

Today we had a very fun day. After we woke up, we drove out and had lunch with daddy near his work. You were quite silly on the way up wearing your new cool glasses.

After that, we drove out to see your cousin Coral. You hadn't seen her in a while so she couldn't believe how much you've grown. We picked her up and then went to dinner. You entertained us the whole time, as usual.

The best part of the day was that you slept in the car on the way to daddy's work, on the way to Coral's house and on the way home. You had 3 nice naps, which makes e a little nervous about tonight, but we'll see. Tomorrow we are going to go to Pretend City to play with Hailee, Brandon, and Brayden. It's gonna be soooo much fun. Sleep tight french fry. I love you.

What an Egg-citing Day

Today started off with a nice visit from the Easter Bunny. He brought you a nice basket full of Play-Doh, toys, bathing suits, candy, and even a movie. You were so excited when you saw your basket. After opening your basket, we went out back to find all the eggs that the silly rabbit hid from you. You did a really nice job finding them all. After the hunt, we came in, had some beakfast and then you dug into your Play-Doh. Before we knew it, it was time to take a bath and get ready to go to Grammy and Grampy's for our Easter dinner/hunt. You actually fell asleep on the way there and were able to get about an hour nap before we started the party. You got some really cool gifts from everyone, but you especially got excited about the sidewalk chalk. Next it was time for the egg hunt. You found 12 eggs, 4 of which had $1 bills in them. Some had confetti in them, which you decided to smash on Daddy's head, and the rest had candy. I finally got you to pose and "kinda" smile for me. Before dinner we all sat around and played with all the toys you guys got. Then we had some Sno Cones and while we were relaxing in the backyard, we noticed (actually Aunt Netty noticed first) that we were having an earthquake. We were all outside and it was a rolling one, but we got to witness the pool's reaction to the quake. It was really cool to see.
This video was taken during the actual rolling. The pool didn't finally calm down until about 40 min after the quake stopped. We were all happy to be together, but still a little shaken up. You were quite calm throughout the whole thing, even when the water came all the way up to where you were sitting. We then had dinner and played some more, until it was time to come home. What an exciting day we had today. Happy Easter my little french fry. I love you

Happy Birthday Grammy

Yesterday we had a little dinner celebration for Grammy's birthday. Everyone who could come, came over to help celebrate. You had a lot of fun with your cousins. So much fun that you melted down at 9:30 and never woke up even though everyone was here at least another hour. So we didn't get to properly wish grammy a happy blog birthday so today you decided to perform for her.
Happy Birthday Grammy. Love you!
