Under the weather

The last few days I have stayed home with you because you had a slight case of the flu. You couldn't keep any food down and you had a fever on and off. Today you seem much better. You haven't had a fever in over 24 hours now and you even ate some soup, and orange and a piece of licorice today- and it has yet to make its way back up. You alsowore pull ups today and went potty 4 times like a big girl. I'm so proud of you. Well, hopefully that little bug is gone for good and we can have a nice weekend. Love you french fry and I have loved cuddling with you the last few days :)

How scary is this to come home to.....

Fun Weekend

Boy did we have a fun weekend. We started off Friday night by celebrating mommy's birthday. You, all the kids, and all the daddies went next door to Uncle Mark's, while all the girls had a bunco night at our house. The best part of the night was when all you kids and daddies came over to sing and help blow out the candles. You are such a good helper at that.

On Saturday, we picked up Grammmy and Grampy and we headed out to the LA Zoo. We had a lot of fun with them looking at all the animals. You and I even popped our heads out of the meerkat holes.


You thought that was really funny. We saw all kinds of animals and we even eventually found you some popcorn.


I think you were the happiest about that. Grammy and Grampy bought you a few prizes because you were such a good girl and then we headed home.
The funniest part of the trip was when I told you that when we get home you could have a popsicle if you stop pushing the alligator (the annoying toy I picked out for you) and you closed your eyes and took a nap. You said ok, here grammy, handed her your toy leaned your head over and fell asleep. You slept for 3 hours:) And of course, after you woke up you asked for your popsicle.
Today we just hung out around the house, played, napped, and laughed. You are getting to be such a funny little character. I love you more and more every day. Thanks for always being such a good girl and always making me smile. I love you.

Love you so much

Today is Valentine's Day and boy are you NOT showing the love. You have been a little stinker today and for a good portion of this last week. I don't know what it is but you haven't been your normal Kendyl?? Regardless, I still love you so much. That has become my favorite saying lately, because every now and then you will just hug me and say it and it is soooo cute. Today the three of us went out for a drive by the beach and then had some dinner. It was a very casual day, but I loved every minute. Thanks for being the best Valentine! Love you french fry!

"Where'd church go?"

Today we went to Abbey's 1st reconciliation at her church. This, unfortunately, has been your first time in church (other than when you were 7 weeks old at Cherlene and Eric's wedding), so I was a bit nervous. But you did a really good job. I tried to "prep" you on the drive there and once we got there we walked in so I could show you everything. There was a man in there when we first went in and he said hello to you and told you how pretty you looked. So during the ceremony, you were, for the most part, well behaved. Except you kept asking me, "Where'd church go?" It took me awhile to figure out that you thought "church" was the man that we saw when we first got there and you didn't see him and wanted to know where he was. After the ceremony we went to lunch with everyone and had a nice time celebrating Abbey's big day.
