Loving the Dimetapp

Today you woke up with a pretty bad cough and a runny nose, which was note a good sign. You went to Jen Jen's and she let me know that you were not doing so well. So Grammy and Grampy went to get you and I got someone to cover my class and took you to the doctor. She, unfortunately, said you have a bad case of croup. She gave us a prescrption for some breathing treatments to give you and said I could give you Dimetapp for your congestion, but everything else was fine. So, we went to the store to get your medicine and then took some. Wow, did it work fast. Here you are about 20 mins after your first dose dancing with Sam from iCarly.



I'm not sure how you are going to come off of this, but I think it's awesome while you are on it. You are literally speaking gibberish and acting a little intoxicated. It is quite comical. I can't wait to stay home with you tomorrow and take care of you. I hope you kick this quick. Love you french fry.

Sunday Funday

Today you had a really fun day. It started with you sleeping in, which is always a good sign. Then daddy pulled out your plastic pool because it was nice and hot. So we had our first official pool day. You had a blast going down the slide and splashing around.




After you got out and had some lunch you took a little nap and then it was time for Brandon to come over. You were sooooo excited to see Brandon (and Cyndi and Eric). Daddy BBQ'd some hot dogs and hamburgers so right when they got here, we had dinner.
You two were so cute at the table eating.


Then it was time to get back in the pool




Once we convinced you two to get out (thanks to a cupcake persuasion)we came in, had a cupcake, watched The Backyardigans, and then dyed your Easter eggs. You got soooo messy, but thank goodness it all came out.


After they left we took a bath, watched TV and played. That was when Daddy and I noticed that your cough that we thought was from being out in the pool too long was sounding a little worse. Hope it doesn't turn into anything. Fingers are crossed.

Cousin fun

The other day we went over to Aunt Heidi's and we all went for a nice walk. Mallorey and Logan rode their bikes, while you got to ride in your stroller. It was such a beautiful day and you were a very good girl. We walked through the park near their house where you got to see some squirrels, big trees, kids playing baseball, and even a few pine cones. On our way back we stopped at the playground so you guys could play.

Everyone got some air on the swings.... (especially Mallorey)

After the park we headed back to Aunt Heidi's because, of course, you wanted to go in the jumper (trampoline) You went right there and had alot of fun. We finally came home and had a very restful night. Thanks for always being such a trooper. You are awesome. Love you

Cheese

The other day we went to grammy and grampy's for some yummy tacos. You, however, decided to eat the bowl of shredded cheese like it was cereal. The after dinner you gave us some very stylish poses

Happy Birthday Hailee

Today is your cousin, and neighbor's birthday. She is officially 4 years old today. Yesterday we went to her awesome party at Pump it Up, and boy did we have a good time. You love to jump, so this was right up your alley. You got to play with a lot of your cousins and even met some new friends too. They had awesome jumpers for to jump in, but I think you loved the huge slide best of all. So did grandpa!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

The leprechaun's got a hold of you and daddy last night. They turned you into a beautiful leprechaun, but they turned daddy into a "monster" That's what you called him when he came out of the kitchen with his wig on. It was very funny. Well, have a great green day. Love you.

Your first Nightgown

Tonight you are wearing your first nightgown. We had to wear it for 3 reasons: 1) you are finally big enough to fit it, 2) you have a boo-boo on your knee that you are milking by saying when we put pants on, they hurt your boo boo, and 3) it is freaking hot.... So we put on these special pj's and you just love it. Looks like the Easter Bunny is going to have to bring you a few more night gowns. Love you french fry.

Fun with Evonne

Today your cousin Evonne came out to visit you. You were soooo excited. You talked about it all morning and when she got here you screamed and ran around. Daddy took you and her to the park and you saw your friend, Jaden again. After the park, you guys brought some lunch home and then cousin had to leave. You love getting visitors so you were a little sad to see her go, but Daddy fixed it with a sucker :)

Thanks for coming to visit, Evonne. It really means a lot to her.

What a week

This week started off with you feeling much better, but me feeling much worse. You passed your little bug to me and boy did it hit me hard. Once I started feeling better, poor daddy started feeling it. So we have been Lysol-ing this house like crazy this week. You have been really trying to sleep like a big girl and have had about a 60% success rate this week.
Last night you baked delicious muffins for us and even took some to Jen Jen's to share. You were so cute pouring, mixing, and staring at the oven while you watched them "grow."
Today I picked you up and we headed to the park near our house. You had so much fun. While we were there you kept asking, "Where's my best friend?" I guess when I was sick you and Daddy went to the park and you met a little girl named Jaden that you had a lot of fun with. So apparently she is your BFF. However, she was quickly replaced with Sarah, a little girl who is almost 3. You and her played in the playroom at the park and had a really fun time. It was cute to see you interact with another kid your age and you two acted like you've known each other forever. You even hugged good-bye. After the park you and I went over and had some dinner at Red Robin then we walked around the mall. We did some window shopping, went and saw the puppies, and then stopped at the candy store for a special treat for you and Daddy. I really had a fun day with you. Thanks for being so cute and for always haing fun wherever we go. You are growing up so fast that it scares me, but I love each day a little more than the last one. Love you, french fry.
