EXPLOSION
What a morning!
So here we are now at 6:30, ready for a nap right? SIKE!! Ready for a mid-morning snack is more like it. So I gave you 1/2 a jar of your favorite applesauce. You scarfed that jar down like it was going out of style. Then Daddy picked you up, patted you a few times and you were off to dreamland just in time to get in the carseat and go to Jennifers. It was a very fun, yet interesting morning. Thanks for always keeping me on my toes. Just when I think I have you figured out...you get me. I love you Kendyl.

A message from Daddy
Right now you are on my left shoulder grabbing my collar and watching me type. What you dont know is I have been watching you since Mommy gave me the news you were on the way. I could not have imagined what happiness you would bring. Seeing your little face each day means the world to me. Leaving you in the morning is the hardest. Running home at night and coming through that door to your smile is the best. Anyone who has met you knows that smile.
Words cannot express how much love I have for you Kendyl Elaine!

Lesson learned
Today me, Kendyl and Aunt Cyndi went shopping :) It was nice to get out of the house and go somewhere other than work. We went to Westminster Mall because Aunt Cyndi wanted to go to Old Navy to look for maternity clothes, and being the responsible mother that I am I had to teach you to never pass up a trip to the magical Old Navy. So we tagged along and had a great time. You actually slept through most of it, until you decided to let the entire store get a whif of your lovely booty fragrance. It was quite funny. So once we left there, the 3 of us went to Islands for dinner. I changed your stinky diaper in the car and then we went and had dinner. You were a great girl while we had dinner and you even mastered the art of grabbing your little shapes that hang in your carseat. After dinner we left and that's when I learned the biggest lesson of my life so far.... NEVER LEAVE A NASTY STINKY DIAPER IN THE CAR WHEN YOU GO TO DINNER!!!!!! I obviously forgot to grab it when we went to dinner, and we paid big time. The entire car stunk for a good 10 minutes. It's a good thing you are so cute, because if not, we may have lost our friend and your future mother-in-law Aunt Cyndi. Don't go and mess up your arranged marriage before your husband is even born :) Love you baby girl. Thanks for being you.

Pooperoni
today you stayed with grandma and she said that you pooped 3 times. That is definitely a first for you and I hope you continue to do what you gotta do. :) I know that's gross, but it really makes your belly better. Well, thanks for leaving your poops at grandma's house my little pooperoni. I love you

Before I was a mom
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Drooled on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple little grin.
I never sat up for hours watching a baby sleep.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom - I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.
I had never known the warmth, The joy, The love, The heartache, The wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a Mom.
I love you Kendyl Elaine

A message from Kendyl
The previous message was written by none other than Kendyl herself. She has taken a liking to smacking the keyboard as she sits with me at the computer, so I figured she had something to share :) I'm pretty sure it says something about her mom being the most wonderful and beautiful person on the world. hahahahahaha

How's that taste?
Stick me here, stick me there, why don't you just stick me everywhere?
Thanks for being such a trooper, Kendyl. You really are a great daughter and I love you very much.
